Apartment Rue de l'Oratoire - 209

"We had a fabulous stay at rue de l’Oratoire. The location was perfect for all the activities we did. The appartment is simply beautiful and Madame *****, the owner, is a lovely person and very accommodating. There was a problem with AMEX travellers cheques ( she could not cash them ) and she was very patient while I had to retrieve cash from an ATM and therefore, late in paying her. I would recommend this appartment to anyone. Salutations et Merci Madame *****! Claire" (Canada)   June 2014

"Before arrival, had several emails with owner. Very helpful. On arrival, we called her ahead of time, and she met us downstairs in front of building. Very secure building. Need a key to enter front door, then another secured entry before you can get into ground floor of building. So, immediately we felt very safe. Apartment is on second floor. Easy walk up curved stairs, or take the old fashioned cage elevator up. Enter apartment through the beautiful foyer. Owner had made a booklet of important information about major sights to see and recommended restaurants nearby. In the smaller bedroom was a basket full of guidebooks, pamphlets, about the city. Space in apartment is very comfortable for 5 people. It is just as pictured. Two full bathrooms, and a half bathroom with just a toilet. Great to have washer/dryer in kitchen. There was detergent available for doing laundry. Good size fridge/freezer. Coffee maker and toaster for breakfast. There is a small supermarket around the corner. Just remember to bring your own bags!! Location of the apartment is absolutely the best. Metro is diagonal to building. Few minutes walk to Louvre, river Seine, famous bridges. Walking distance to Notre dame. It is such a relief after a long day sightseeing to walk out of the metro station and see the apartment diagonal to you!! We spent any free moments we had standing on the terrace looking at the people walking by. We felt like we lived there. So worth it. The owner is fantastic tonwork with. Speaks English perfectly. Very helpful and patient. She booked a taxi for us to CDG. Should only cost about 75€ from apartment to CDG. Do not hesitate to book this wonderful apartment. We would love to stay there again. "We had a wonderful time in Paris and the apartment was perfect. I love your online portals and appreciate all your personal help in coordinating things. The apartment was spectacular and the owner friendly, courteous and unobtrusive. What a great 1st view for my kids of in my opinion the world’s most beautiful city. We hope to return soon. Regards, Michael and family " (USA)

" We enjoyed our week in Paris very much. The apartment was very conveniently located: across the street from the Louvre and the Metro stop, with the Seine and the Left Bank just beyond. The high ceilings and windows added to the spacious feel and provided interesting views, but it was not noisy. We thoroughly enjoyed the private lift (or spiraling staircase!) and other architectural touches that gave us a taste of classic Parisian elegance. The owner was very congenial and the security of the apartment was excellent. Thanks for your assistance with the rental. Everything went as expected. Jody " (USA)

"Dear [owner], Just a brief note to thank you for the stay at your beautiful apartment. We really enjoyed meeting you and I was also able to catch up with Marie, another delightful person. We feel rather privileged and spoilt to have stayed where we did and hope to return one day. Paris is still my favourite city of all that I have been to. With kindest regards, Peter, Jeanette, Faye and Ken." (Australia)

"4 of us have just returned from a wonderful stay at this characterful, light and very spacious apartment. We were impressed with the rental agency whose communication and organisation was excellent. The housekeeper who greeted us was friendly and warm and the landlady charming. We couldn't get over the location, and the view through the huge balcony window helped us to enjoy Paris even when we were relaxing after a busy day's sightseeing. The only slight downsides about the apartment were that we found the front bedroom quite noisy, with the metro rumbling beneath all night and the sounds from the street quite audible, so if you're used to peace and quiet you'd best bring some earplugs. Also the beds in the front room are quite firm. The apartment is very well equipped (washing machine, wifi etc) and full of interesting antique furniture. With the apartment being on the 2nd floor the lift was really handy for my parents, who would have struggled with the stairs. Location-wise it's very close to the Louvre-Rivoli metro stop. There are lots of restaurants close by, a hop on hop off bus (Foxcity) practically opposite and it's a 5 minute walk to the river with the Batobus stop and the unmissable Bateau Calife dinner cruise. I highly recommend this apartment and I would not hesitate to return. Monique" (UK)

Apartment Rue Montmartre - 1329

" The apartment is located in a central and nice place. We found everything as in the pictures on the web site. As we were 2 persons and we stayed for 9 nights, the space was perfect. We enjoyed our stay, we’ll recommend the apartment to friends and we hope to be back. Thank you, Eliezer and Riki " (Israel)

Apartment Rue des Prêcheurs - 719

" The flat on Rue des Precheurs was wonderful! It was the best location a tourist could want. It is in walking distance to so many popular locations such as Notre Dame and the Seine. We decided to take the metro instead to go see the Eiffel Tower, but even the metro was only a minute away! Literally, only one minute from your front door to the entrance of the Metro. The great thing is, there are so many shops right at the Metro station, that you could spend all day there and not

realize it. We really enjoyed being able to take the Metro with such convenience. It was easy to maneuver yourself and cheaper than a taxi by far. So, that was my long winded way of saying that the location could not have been any better!!! As far as the flat itself, it was very neat and compact. Our hosts were incredibly gracious and helpful. I cannot express enough how kind everyone was and took their time in accommodating our tumultuous schedule. The flat contained everything needed to cook in the kitchen, and there was a grocery store just five minutes away walking distance for any other ingredients you need. I was a huge fan of the fact that the washer and dryer are two machines in one. That was really handy, and our hosts were generous to provide the laundry detergent for us. The only adjustments I suggest are to include an iron in the flat. Since it is a home setting, we had expected to be able to iron our clothes and were slightly disappointed. Other than that, it turned out the bathroom was lacking in toilet paper when we got there, so we used tissues until we made it to the Monop. Those are just two little things that by no means diminished our stay there and we would highly recommend anyone to this location. Thank you again and we hope to return! Thank you, Vanessa " (USA)

APartment Quai des Orfèvres - 71

" We had a wonderful time in Paris. It is my favorite city I have visited. The apartment was very nice and the view was incredible. I love the location. It was so convenient to so many attractions, shopping and restaurants. Thank you for all your help. I hope to visit again very soon. David " (USA)

" Our stay was tres bon!! We really enjoyed ourselves. We loved the area – it was so convenient to everything. There were so many things that were great about the apartment – even though it was rainy, we were never cold. (In fact, we are now considering steam heat at home). The beds were very comfortable – we slept quite well. It was also quite convenient to have a hair dryer already in the apartment. Having a washer/dryer was amazing – I never thought it would be something I would use, but it was, and very much appreciated. Not only would we visit again, my husband and I loved the area so much, we really didn’t want to leave. If we decide to make an extended stay, we will definitely contact you for guidance or perhaps even placement in the same apartment. Thanks again, Marie, for all your help. Communication between you and I has been very clear. We will definitely be in touch when planning the next trip to Paris!! Geri and Family " (USA)

Apartment Rue Pierre Lescot - 463

" Thank you for your email. We did enjoy our stay in Paris. The apartment was ideal for our needs. It included every amenity necessary to live as local persons instead of as a tourist (such as in a hotel). It was the perfect location; very convenient for daily shopping and walking to most of the sites in the center of the city. I would recommend the apartment to anyone wishing to explore Paris in the manner that we were able to. Thank you, Michael " (USA)
