For business purposes, to stay in touch with the family, to get info on Paris to plan a day of sightseeing’s, Internet is the perfect tool, and sometimes a "must have" during your stay in Paris.
Most of the apartment rentals in Paris that we propose do have an internet connection (when it’s not available it is specified in our apartment details page), but sometimes you may need internet when you are outside your flat.
So, one of the best and free solution is provided by the city of Paris who gives Internet WiFi access in more than 260 places all over the city. In Gardens, Parks, libraries, or museums you’ll find easily the sign that confirmed the WiFi availability.

How does it work?:
Most of the public gardens and parks in Paris have a logo (at the entrance) that confirmed the Wifi is accessible.
You need of course to have a phone, computer, PDA with a WIFI access, you don’t need any software.
So launch your browser, it may ask you to select a Network if so you have to select “Orange”
Then you put the website you want to see for example: www.paris-be-a-part-of-it.com
Then you select the “Paris WiFi 2h”, and you are online for free.
How long does it last?:
2 hours, when your session is ending you can renew it automatically
What are the schedules:
The WiFi is not accessible all day/night long, but during the time the gardens, library, city hall (of each arrondissement), some museums, and parks are opens, check the time table at the entrance (during the summer it may close around 9 to 9.30pm for the major parks).

I don’t have a computer or a computer with WiFi, I need to be connected how do I do ?
If so you need to go in what we call an Internet Café, or a Cyber Café, they give you access to a computer from where you can of course check your email, work on documents, play etc
Prices vary depending on the company, it can start from 1,50 Euros, to 10 euros for 3 or 4 hours, some of them are open 24/7 which allows you a lot of flexibility.
