Formerly an Industrial area, the Parisian Chinatown is located mainly in the 13th arrondissement, between the avenue de Choisy, avenue d’Ivry and Boulevard Massena (which design a triangle). From the 20’s, where the first refugees arrived, to nowadays many Asian communities gathered together in this specific area. Lately you can find a more recent Chinatown on the right bank in Belleville, and a small one in the 3rd arrondissement (close to the Rue des Gravilliers).
